1. French Films in Egypt: Starts on March 12th, 2007

France, the country of culture, civilization and strong bond with Egypt for centuries owns a wealth of cinema productions as well. That was the reason GNG developed a passion and

plan to bring the best of the French cinema into the Egyptian market for the first time, and introduce it on a wide, large and strong platform.

The initiative is hoped to answer a need of not only a huge francophone community residing in Egypt, but also that of a large number of French-educated Egyptians, as well as

visitors and the population at large.

To achieve its goals, Good News Group Film & Music has signed up with the largest and most prominent French Production & Distribution Companies to release the best of French cinema in Egypt. These include: Studio Canal, Gamont, Pathe, TF1, Europa Corp,Celluloid-Dreams, MK2, Films Distribution, BAC, Rezo, Pyramide International, Haut & Court, Roissy Films. And more to come...!

2. Indian Films in Egypt – Starts February 2007:

Bollywood has an international appeal, and has always been a favorite to the Egyptian viewer for long decades. However, over the last few years a state of slowness and stagnation has been witnessed. In an attempt to mobilize the situation, Good News Group Film & Music has signed up with one of Bollywood’s most renowned distribution companies: “Eros Entertainment”, on an exclusive „sole-agent basis for the Egyptian market, to bring the best of India’s cinema industry back.

3. “Princess of the Sun” - World Premierefor the animated film

To be held in Egypt: March 12th, 2007

The story is written by “Christian Jacque” whose novels are an open invitation to a world of mysteries, adventures and exciting discoveries about Egypt. Despite him being the only French writer among the top 15 World Best-sellers, there has never been a film based on his books. So, “Princess of the Sun” is the first, bringing his formidable intrigues to screen, and bringing his amazing tales of Ancient Egypt to life… to animated-life... The film, created by an award-winning team, is an action and comedy animated film which is, in the meantime, respectful of the History.

Good News Group has taken the initiative of proposing that the movie be released worldwide from Egypt… the natural setting of the story featuring Tutankhamen, Akhenaton and Nefertiti….which it will…at the pyramids area.

Around 50 overseas visitors representing the distribution company, the producer, the film crew, the novelist and international press & media members will be coming to Egypt for the premiere which will be held on March 12th, 2007.

The Premiere night planned for the movie will be of a huge magnitude to match that of the event: From stage settings, décor and ambiance to invitees, including officials, diplomats, artists, VIPS, national, regional and international press & media representatives operating in Egypt. All meeting at a press conference, cocktail reception and the screening of the

World Premiere.

4. The Argentinean Summer Film Festival – Porto Marina – Summer 2007:

For the first time in Egypt, GNG will hold a festival for Argentinean movies featuring Football – one of the movies will relate the life story of the football legend Diego Maradona – and Tango. This will coincide with the International Tango Competition which will be televised by worldwide media.

[GNG is currently in negotiations of the details of this event].

5. Pre-Paid Discounted Tickets to GNG cinemas:

The concept was developed by GNG following a number of requests from Clients wanting to present some gift voucher, giveaway or even rewards package to their own customers

and employees on different occasions.

Today, GNG offers the same to all its clients, film sponsors, and partners the opportunity to enjoy all its line-up for 2007 by making available prepaid discounted tickets [50% ] for the

Grand Hyatt Galleria & Porto Marina movie theatres [commercial value LE 30-35].
